Snædís Xyza Mae Jónsdóttir is Head Chef

Snædís Xyza Mae Jónsdóttir is the Head Chef at Fröken Reykjavík. She served as captain of the Icelandic National Culinary Team from 2020 and took on the role of coach in 2023. She stepped down as national team coach in December 2025 to focus on her participation in one of the world’s most prestigious culinary competitions, the Bocuse d’Or Europe. This past March, she secured a place in the finals, which will take place next year.
